Timothee Chalamet is a rising Hollywood star who had already established his name with his spectacular performances. The actor became a popular name with his work in Denis Villeneuve’s sci-fi film Dune. It also features famous actors like Spider-man fame Zendaya, Dc’s Aquaman aka Jason Momoa, Oscar Isaac, Rebecca Ferguson, Florence Pugh, and more.
As per the recent updates, after the highly successful film, the production for the second installment is going on in full flow. In a recent ad shared by Apple TV, it seems like Dune star may soon appear in a film or series on the streaming platform.
Timothee Chalamet to feature in Apple TV
Timothee Chalamet is a popular Hollywood youth actor who has worked in some of the high-grossing and critically praised films. The actor was part of films like Dune and Don’t Look Up featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Meryl Streep. He was also part of the romantic classic film, Little Women, featuring Emma Watson, and was seen in the cannibalism-based film Bones and All. The actor is now gearing up for his next film, Dune 2.
In a new ad shared by Apple TV Plus, the actor is amazed by the movies and TV series on the platform. He is seen wishing to work on a project for the streaming platform. The actor has hinted that he will be joining the streaming service and he may do a television series.
The ad shows, Chalamet realizing that actors like Jennifer Lawrence, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Jason Momoa are creating content for the platform, and he wonders what kind of movie or TV series he also could do for the platform. At one point, he says that he could do TV.
While Chalamet’s nemesis Tom Holland has already made his small screen debut with The Crowded Room, it would be interesting to see Chalamet in a television series.
Zendaya and Timothee Chalamet became besties in Dune
In conversation with E! News, Zendaya has admitted that she was intimidated to work with the majority cast of Dune. She shared that she felt the pressure to give her best performance, but the presence of Chalamet was reassuring for her. Spider-man: Homecoming star said,
“I was like, I want to do my best work, you know? But this guy made it such a warm environment to work [in].”
Chalamet and Zendaya became the best buddies while shooting for the film and did several appearances together. The actors also shared sweet birthday posts for each other on social media, which gave air to their dating rumors. However, Zendaya cleared in her interviews that they were good friends.
Timothée Chalamet shared with Variety in November 2022,
“She’s really become a sister. I’m so grateful to count her as a partner and a sister and a friend, and also to share stories about how amazing it is to work with Luca [Guadagnino] because we worked with him back-to-back on wildly different projects.”
Talking about the highly anticipated sequel to Dune, which is under production, Timothée shared Zendaya would play a prominent role in Dune 2.
“She hasn’t wrapped yet… and it’s amazing. She’s bringing exactly what she brought to the first one — which was incredible — but in greater abundance.”
Zendaya is presently dating her Spider-man co-star Tom Holland.
Dune 2 will release on 2 November 2023.
