Why Does Sylvester Stallone Regret This Cult Classic So Much

The beloved Hollywood action star Sylvester Stallone has finally confessed his biggest regret. While speaking at the Toronto International Film Festival, the actor revealed his true feelings for this ’80s cult classic named Cobra. He felt the movie that is now cherished by many was somewhat “half-baked” in his opinion. What stands out as his greatest regret is the missed opportunity to take the helm as the director of this project. As he stated,

“Cobra to me, was half-baked, I could have done better, but I wasn’t concentrating enough. I felt as though that’s something I should have directed, and I didn’t, and I regret that. That’s one thing about making movies, aside from watching your hairline recede, you go, ‘god, why didn’t I try harder?”

In addition to that, the actor also went a step further by openly expressing his desire to have pushed himself a bit harder during the filming of the movie. Despite having so many regrets, the film originally directed by George P. Cosmatos still stands out as one of the most loved works by the actor to this date.
