Coming across some gossip and speculations about herself, Bullock shared them during the speech and dispelled them publicly.

Adding a lighter tone to her speech, the 59-year-old actress concluded it by informing Julia Roberts, who was present at the event, about something she learned. Discussing the rumor of an alleged feud between her and Roberts over George Clooney, Bullock made the audience burst into laughter.
