Trying to learn about what people thought of her, Bullock had both relatable and hilarious reactions to what she came across. Revealing her reaction to the various tidbits of gossip about her, Bullock shared her experience via WMTV.
“So I googled myself and I read the comments section thinking I would get some tidbits of what people really think of me and share them with you for humorous purposes. Side note: no human being should ever read the comment section or google oneself at any time.”
Sharing her experience during the 25th Annual Palm Springs International Film Festival Awards Gala in 2014, Sandra Bullock proceeded to debunk some rumors she learned about herself.
Sandra Bullock Debunked a Few Rumors About Herself
Although she had a rather fun experience after Googling herself, as she learned more than she expected, Sandra Bullock almost begged her colleagues to never Google themselves. Coming across some gossip and speculations about herself, Bullock shared them during the speech and dispelled them publicly.
“I did learn a lot about myself; I did. Some things I was already very well aware of. Things like Sandra Bullock is over 40 came up a lot.”
The actress shared a hilarious response to how Google has been repeatedly implying that she’s growing old. Thus, poking more fun at her age, Bullock dead-panned that she knew that she was over 40. “Sandra Bullock is way past 40. Yeah, I know that too,” the Bird Box actress shared.
Adding a lighter tone to her speech, the 59-year-old actress concluded it by informing Julia Roberts, who was present at the event, about something she learned. Discussing the rumor of an alleged feud between her and Roberts over George Clooney, Bullock made the audience burst into laughter.
