Currently making her stage debut as Sally Bowles in the West End musical Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club (Playhouse Theatre), Delevingne, 31, was not staying at her LA residence at the time of the dramatic fire. According to the public information officer, they found that a “heavy fire” had started around the back of the building and had “consumed one of the rooms”.

Cara Delevingne’s $7 Million LA House in Ruins

The home, which was formerly opulent and lavish, has now been reduced to a mere shell. Cara Delevingne’s LA mansion experienced a sizable fire early on Friday morning, as Page Six has confirmed.

The two-story home was on fire when the Los Angeles Fire Department received a call at 3:57 a.m. local time on Friday, according to a spokesperson who spoke with the outlet. The property’s back was the source of a “heavy fire”, which the public information officer said had “consumed one of the rooms” when they arrived. He continued, saying:

At the time, “all occupants were out of the home”.

The LA Police Department responded to a fire call at 4:29 a.m. local time in order to “evacuate residents” and “do traffic control”, according to a public information officer who spoke with Page Six. According to the LAPD officer, no one inside the house needed to be evacuated by the police.

Shortly after the fire, the model-actress shared pictures of her two cats on Instagram Story, which sparked worries that they might have been hurt. Delevingne sent a picture of the cats along with her note:

“My heart is broken today… I cannot believe it. Life can change in the blink of an eye. So cherish what you have.”

However, as an LAFD spokesperson informed Page Six:

“We have no reports of any animals being injured and once we did an extensive search of the property, we did not find any that were injured…There is no indication of an arson or criminal investigation right now.”

Later, the Paper Towns actress acknowledged that her pets are “alive” on Instagram Stories and thanked the firemen.

According to the Daily Mail, 94 firefighters arrived on the scene in 13 different engines to put out the fire. Investigations are still being conducted.
