Recently, Shia LaBeouf made an appearance on Froch on Fightingwhere he talked about boxing as a profession, as well as his thoughts on specific boxers. He started by saying that Gervonta Davis was his favorite, then moved on to talk about his favorite category in the sport. Even though the actor enjoys the lightweight division, there is one specific boxer he does not like in this division.

LaBeouf revealed that he did not like Ryan Garcia very much. It was not because of his fighting style or boxing career that made the actor aversive towards him. It was the boxer’s personal life.

Earlier this year, Garcia entered the media spotlight after he announced his divorce from Andrea Celina, the same day she gave birth to their son. Announcing the news in a since-deleted post, via TMZ, he received a lot of backlash for his actions.

LaBeouf revealed this to be the exact cause of his dislike for the boxer. He thought Garcia’s actions to be ungentlemanly and stated that no one should ever take such steps if they are unhappy in a marriage.

He then addressed LaBeouf directly, stating that he did not know him personally, so he did not get the right to judge his personal life and decisions.
