Mindy Kaling’s Velma has been making waves among Scooby-Doo fans and new audiences alike, as they are throwing criticisms at the show for all the just and valid reasons. While Hanna-Barbera’s Scooby-Doo has entertained the fans for several decades, its latest iteration has become a matter of controversy. The Velma-centric show laughs at the face of the original show’s legacy, as it is a cacophony of problematic issues. The fans of the franchise and viewers of the show have had enough of the show as they are tearing its legacy to shreds after the horrible 2nd Season.

Fans Dismantle Velma After its Miserable 2nd Season

The 2nd season of Velma has been the talk of the town for all the wrong reasons as HBO’s latest animated series has failed to be a great mystery show, and it is not the funniest in the slightest. Despite being a prequel to Scooby-Doo, the show has nothing to do with the original show.

Interestingly, the only thing that the show has successfully managed to do in its 2nd season is to unite the entire fandom to tear apart the show. A fan (@Vad_Arts) took it to social media after season 2 came to an end. They shared that they were grateful to Scrappy for killing Velma, but her ghost killed Scrappy, and this was so bad that she wished that they were “making this sh*t up.”

The review continued as they stated, “I don’t recommend you watch it,” because the show had a decent animation and art style, but “story wise..the show is a**.” They believed the show had the potential to be something better, and focusing on those points would have made the show entertaining. However, the way the 2nd season was written showcases how the writer “doesn’t give a f**k about these characters.”

They continued that the show is “one big “F**K YOU” to all Scooby Doo fans…and that sh*t lowkey hurts.” They have only 3 words to express their emotions for the series, “F**k this show.” The fan review sparked a fire on social media as fans have come forward to dismantle the show for good.
