Brie Larson is an actor who often finds herself in unfortunate positions not because of anything she does but because of an image the media is driving her to paint of hers. The actress has been strongly scrutinized ever since she took up the role of Carol Danvers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Brie Larson Dodges Journalist’s Unnecessary Question
Brie Larson had been part of a press conference recently which had been held in regard to the upcoming Cannes Film Festival. The festival is said to feature some of the most anticipated movies including Johnny Depp’s Jeanne Du Barry. The movie marks the grand return of the actor after a heavily draining defamation trial against Amber Heard.
“You’re asking me that?” the actress continued. “I’m sorry, I don’t understand the correlation or why me specifically.”
The actress was asked whether or not she would take the time out to go and watch the screening of Depp’s movie. She was not very pleased to be asked that question since it was highly unnecessary and even tried singling out an actor who was warmly welcomed by the people if not by everyone who may have initially had the wrong idea about him. She very wittily slid the question, stating that she could not understand where her opinion in the same really mattered. After which she did add the fact that whether or not she would go watch the movie is still unclear.

Fans could not help but point out how the question was perhaps purely a way for all the actress’s haters to rise and speak up against her so they could get some clicks. They were constantly siding with her and supporting her decision and how she chose to answer the question ultimately.

The actress has been a long-standing advocate for sexual harassment survivors and spoke up actively during the #MeToo movement. Her advocacy was being exploited by the journalist and she too could tell that immediately.
