Actor Charlie Sheen almost enjoyed a rather successful career after his appearance in the well-appreciated TV show Two And A Half Men. However, his fame and career didn’t last that long, after Sheen made a humorous yet damaging outburst at the show’s co-creator Chuck Lorre, during an interview on the Alex Jones Show.
Verbally assaulting Chuck Lorre, Charlie Sheen arrived at a point in his career where he became the target of the media. Not just his career-ending rant, but also his well-documented marital and drug abuse came to the limelight. This eventually led to his contract termination in a career-ending blow.
Charlie Sheen’s Career Ending Rant Against Chuck Lorre
Charlie Sheen had been enjoying his career until his 2011 interview on the Alex Jones Show (via Brother O.T.G) when the actor took a dig at the Two and a Half Men creator Chuck Lorre. Coming up with a humorous yet career-damaging verbal assault, Sheen initially had an outburst at Lorre for allegedly censoring him.
“I’m tired of being told you can’t talk about that. Bull sh*t! It’s nothing this side of deplorable that Chaim Levine – yeah that’s his real name – mistook this rock star for his exit strategy.”
Sharing his bizarre thoughts and opinions on Chuck Lorre, Charlie Sheen went ahead to criticize the show creator verbally. Sheen’s verbal attacks were later addressed as ethnic discrimination because he mentioned the Hebrew variation of Lorre’s birth name. Further, the actor also called the creator a “charlatan” and simply damaged his career.
“I embarrassed him in front of his children by healing at a pace that his brain can’t process. Last time I checked, Chaim, I’ve spent the last decade turning your tin cans into gold. And this charlatan chose not to do his job, which is to write.”
With one blow, Charlie Sheen successfully managed to destroy his rising fame and shut down his career. Following his interview, CBS network shut down the production of Two and a Half Men and terminated Sheen’s contract with a career-ending blow.

Charlie Sheen Took Aim at His Audiences’ Judgment
During his bizarre radio appearance, Charlie Sheen’s outburst repeatedly got him to comment on his sobriety. Previously making headlines for his highly publicized relationship with drugs and alcohol, Sheen was bugged by Alex Jones, who wondered about his state of mind. Thus, lashing out against his legal requirement to take drug tests, Sheen stated that he’s “100% clean”.
“Here’s your first pee test, next one goes in your mouth. No, you won’t get high.”
Among his ramblings about Chuck Lorre and his sobriety, Charlie Sheen took a dig at his audiences for their constant barrage of judgment. Claiming that he shouldn’t have to deal with people’s opinions, Sheen slammed his viewers and trolled them for questioning his work.
“I’m dealing with fools and trolls. I don’t have time for their judgment and stupidity. You know they lay down with their ugly wives in front of their ugly children and say, ‘I can’t process it.’ Well, no, you never will. Just sit back and enjoy the show.”
After such an intense interview with Alex Jones, the actor repeatedly made headlines for his anti-semitic outburst against Chuck Lorre. Apart from his sobriety being in question, Charlie Sheen’s career undoubtedly took a damaging blow beyond alteration.
