Jeremy Renner Wouldn’t Let His Injury Affect The Premiere Of His Show
In April this year, Disney+ released Jeremy Renner’s Rennervations series, where the actor teams up with expert builders to acquire decommissioned government vehicles and rebuild them as new creations to help kids in different parts of the world.
In his interview with Variety, Renner admitted he did not want Disney to move the premiere of the show because of his injury. The actor was able to attend the red carpet with the help of a cane. He stated:
“I was really adamant about them not pushing [the world premiere] while there was momentum with the brass at Disney, with us, with the timing of it in all of our lives. It just felt right. I look a little beat up right now, but I promise you this show is what’s propelling me to get better and makes me want to get better every day.”
He was very happy being finally able to walk and attend a very important event in his life. Finally, he said:
“I set out a goal to be walking this carpet. And here I am enjoying it. Otherwise it would have gone to an abyss with no date and lost traction and excitement, and I would have been very, very, very frustrated. I’m very excited right now because we’re here.”
Renner is making the most of his time as he also revealed he has been recording new music during his recovery. Despite his injuries, the actor is full of vigor and passion for life.
