Previously shown getting close to Vickie, a clarinetist, it is believed the duo might hit it off in the final season. However, Maya Hawke evidently expressed her dilemma and mixed feelings regarding her character Robin, and her love life.

Despite fans’ speculations of Vickie and Robin being a couple in the fifth and final season, Hawke rather wished for more screentime with Joe Keery’s character Steve Harrington.

Having set their eyes on Robin, fans hoped for her to end up with Steve. However, Duffer Brothers had different plans as they ended up hinting at a romantic affair between Robin and Vickie (Amybeth McNulty).
