Outside of being a truly exceptional actress, Jolie is also drop-dead gorgeous. Being forced to be reckoned with, it is only natural that she can be a little intimidating to be around for people who don’t personally know her, as was the case for her co-star in her iconic movie, Salt.

“I hadn’t known her very well, at all,” Schreiber once told. “I was very nervous in the beginning. I get very nervous around famous people and I get nervous around beautiful women. This was a big double whammy for me and initially really uncomfortable, which was worrying me.”

He elaborated by saying that he tends to get quite nervous around people who are famous as well as people who are beautiful. Since Jolie is both, Schreiber was quite uncomfortable around her. This was something that worried him a lot as the two were to work together for quite some time, so he came up with a solution to help deal with this problem.

“I felt like the important part of the job for me was to develop familiarity with her because that was the humanizing factor,” Schreiber said.“But then we bonded over kids very quickly. I have 2 small kids and she has 2 small kids and it quickly became, ‘Oh you’re doing time-outs now? That’s just teething,’ And all the sexual tension went out of the room. All the anxiety about her being very famous and a super-human celebrity kind of went away and I found this very nice easy person that I could relate to,”

He added that this actually helped him get over the s*xual tension that he felt with her and he was able to see Jolie outside of being a celebrity and know her as the person she actually is, a kind, easy-to-relate mother.
