Witherspoon became the adorable yet clever Elle Woods and won over audiences with her performance in Legally Blonde. The movie became a huge hit, with the studios opting for a sequel, that although did not fare as well as the first, was still a bix office hit. And now, the 48-year-old seems to want to go back to the good old days, put on her pink suit jacket and skirt, and get ready to rule the world again.
Reese Witherspoon Is Back With a Legally Blonde Series
Reese Witherspoon, recently, shared a clip on her social media, hinting at a Legally Blonde project in the making. She posted a reel on her Instagram about “Something pink is coming.” The show will be a prequel to the movies and is titled Elle and will be aired on Amazon Prime Video. Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, Witherspoon said:
“I truly couldn’t be more excited about this series! Fans will get to know how Elle Woods navigated her world as a teenager with her distinct personality and ingenuity, in ways that only our beloved Elle could do. What could be better than that?”

why would we need a prequel? It doesn’t make sense because in the beginning of the movie, she was a fashion student. What, are we going to see her aspire for fashion when we all know that she’s meant to be a lawyer later?
