Back in 2014, rather than relaxing on a beach, the Batman & Robin actor, who was newly married, decided to attend one of the largest comic book conventions during his honeymoon.

Sources claim that the Ticket to Paradise star and his wife, Amal Clooney reportedly jetted to Seychelles for their honeymoon after Brad Pitt advised them to go there. But, much to everyone’s surprise, the 62-year-old actor decided to cut short his honeymoon period to attend the four-day event at the Javits Center in New York City in 2014.

So, the 62-year-old American actor-director received a call while on his honeymoon and was asked to fly back because it was extremely important. But explaining this to his Lebanese and British barrister wife was challenging. As he confessed on The Graham Norton Show:

“First I had to explain that to my wife, which didn’t play well. And then the whole idea of spending part of your honeymoon with people dressed up like Captain Kirk and Star Wars characters somehow wasn’t easy to explain to my new bride.”

After sharing that honeymoon incident, Clooney decided to discuss his friendly dispute with Brad Pitt.

“I’m not sure how it started but we have done some terrible things to each other. I had some stationary made up with his name on it and would send letters to other actors from Brad Pitt.”

Talking about their infamous prank war, the actor further added:

“I sent Meryl Streep a letter from him with a whole stack of dialect coach CDs saying that they may help her for her role in The Iron Lady. I have sent letters to lots and lots of people from Brad and I don’t tell either of them what I have done for a year or two and they are like, ‘Are you kidding me?'”

He Later Apologized For Destroying Batman

George Clooney was one of the actors to don the Batman cape and travel the road of retribution. In the infamous 1997 movie, Batman & Robin, directed by Joel Schumacher, the actor portrayed Bruce Wayne/Batman, alongside actors Chris O’Donnell and Alicia Silverstone.

Sadly, his Batman performances did not go as well as expected. The ER actor cracked a joke about how he felt personally responsible for the failure of the Batman franchise while discussing the role on The Graham Norton Show:
