Elizabeth Olsen is one of the nicest actresses on earth, but even the nicest people sometimes have other patience tested. And so it happened on the sets of the Dinesy+ show WandaVision, in which Olsen reprised her role as the celebrated Marvel character Scarlet Witch.

WandaVision had many twists and turns along with many new and old actors. Among the many actors joining the cast, Kathryn Hahn debuted as the Marvel character Agatha Harkness. While most actors got along on the set fine, Elizabeth Olsen had a hard time with her co-star Kathryn Hahn due to the terribly long bathroom breaks she took.

Kathryn Hahn entered the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in WandaVision, essaying the role of the cunning, manipulative, and mysterious Agatha Harkness. Being a Marvel character, especially with such an integral role as Agatha Harkness, it is a given that one must have an elaborate and painstakingly detailed costume. Hahn hence had a magnificent but excruciatingly detailed costume that took literal minutes to don on and take off.

As a result, Hahn’s co-star Elizabeth Olsen had to wait for 40 minutes or so during pee breaks. In an interview, Hahn thanked the Oldboy actress for graciously waiting for her despite her delaying the shoot for almost an hour each time she had to take a pee brake.

“When it was just the two of us working on the finale………… She was very patient as it took me like a solid 40 minutes to ’10-1’ … which in the movie business, is to urinate. I had a lot of costume on, and a very small bladder.”

And her co-star Elizabeth Olsen, being the person she is, did not mind it at all.

When Kathryn Hahn made her Marvel debut with WandaVision, she had little to no idea about the nitty-gritty of the Marvel-verse. However, her co-star Elizabeth Olsen took to the task and patiently answered all of her queries and questions.

“She was my intro into this Marvel family, and she very generously walked me through blasts and wires and stunts and finding truth on an X on a green screen — I was used to talking to other people. She was so patient with all of my questions. Who is Ultron? What is that glove with all the gems on it?”

Completely blown away by her grace and patient personality, Hahn recalls she never once saw Olsen break down despite the humongous pressure of working on such a crucial project. Even in tough times, Olsen made sure her co-star was enjoying her time on set.

WandaVision is available to stream on Disney+.
