The blockbuster supernatural series on Netflix laid the foundation for Brown through her character Eleven who touched a chord with young adults all around the world.
The Enola Holmes actor is currently filming the 5th and final season of the show which is set to bring all the plot lines and character arcs a full circle. In a recent appearance, Brown teased her fans by admitting that she was aware of Eleven’s predicament at the end of the show. The star though, refused to fall for the bait thrown by the host and remained extremely tight-lipped about the ending.
Millie Bobby Brown Is Playing Her Cards Close To Her Chest
With the final season of Stranger Things currently being filmed, fans of the show are desperate to see how the series will tie up all the storylines and character arcs. One of the most popular actors who has attained superstar status thanks to the Netflix show is Millie Bobby Brown who plays Eleven, a teenager with psychokinetic and telepathic abilities.
In a recent appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, the Damsel star spoke about various aspects of Stranger Things and dished out some information about the final season. When the host egged her on to reveal a few juicy details of what fans could expect in terms of the narrative, Brown cleverly remained tight-lipped and believed that she owed it to Netflix and the series to keep spoilers away.
Ross though, was persistent in finding out more and continued to push the British star in the hope that she might spill the beans. Brown continued to maintain her stance firmly but revealed one key detail regarding her character. When asked by the interviewer if she was aware of how the show ends, she said,
“I know what happens to my character. I haven’t read the script because they are still in the process of writing. I think I’ve read upto episode six”
With Brown dangling this carrot in front of fans, Jonathan Ross added more fuel to the fire by speculating if Eleven would die at the end. Fans will now have to wait till 2025 before everything will be revealed clearly.
Millie Bobby Brown Allegedly Refused Stranger Things Spin-Off Film
In March 2023, news about a Stranger Things spin-off movie was making the rounds and all eyes were on actor Millie Bobby Brown to see if she would be a part of the film. The star was reportedly offered a massive paycheck to be in the film, but allegedly refused the role to expand her horizons with other projects that she had in the pipeline.
While none of this has been officially confirmed by Netflix or the show’s creators to date, Brown has earlier stated her desire to end her association with the show after the 5th season. In an interview with Seventeen, the star was quoted saying,
“I’m definitely ready to wrap up. I feel like there’s a lot of the story that’s been told now, and we know of it, it’s been in our lives for a very long time. But I’m very ready to say goodbye to this chapter of my life and open new ones”.
The Enola Holmes star also expressed her gratitude to the show and the creators for giving her a memorable character to play while also thanking them for the recognition and love that she received for Stranger Things.
While she is currently filming season 5 of the show, Brown has stayed true to her world by branching out into other projects, the most recent of them being another association with Netflix, Damsel.
