Filming the scene with the whole crew, particularly female crewmembers, on the sets gave Jackman immense confidence. The actor’s journey as the character in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men series was officially wrapped up with 2017’s Logan. Now, a new MCU journey begins that fans are very excited about.
Hugh Jackman talked about his n*de scene in X-Men Origins: Wolverine
In 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine, there is a scene that required actor Hugh Jackman to get naked on the sets of the movie. The scene was quite necessary for the plot as his character realizes he is being experimented on. During his 2014 appearance on The Graham Norton Show, Jackman talked about the scene,
“It was a very intense scene where I first realize having an adamantium skeleton. I’ve been experimented on, I’m naked. There’s blood.”
His n*de was completely uncensored and initially, the actor was awkward about it but admitted that he “quite enjoyed” being naked on set. With his good looks and charismatic personality, Jackman has been famous among female fans for many years.
The female crewmembers loved the scene
Further in the interview, Jackman revealed that he wasn’t the only one who enjoyed filming the scene as all the female crewmembers were thirsting over him,
“The first thing that I see is the entire crew of females, all the females on the crew with like $5 notes going oooohh.”
2000’s X-Men kicked off Jackman’s journey as Wolverine in 20th Century Fox’s X-Men series. After 2017’s Logan, Jackman made it clear that he is done with the role but it seems like he is not done. The actor is all set to return as the character alongside Ryan Reynolds in 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine. Directed by Shawn Levy, the film is all set to release on July 26th, 2024, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
