Finn Wolfhard is one of the most established young stars in the industry at the moment. The Canadian actor has been making a lot of headlines recently after he reprised his role as Trevor in the supernatural comedy movie, Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire.

Almost 2 years before Wolfhard rose to fame for his portrayal of Mike Wheeler in the sci-drama series, Stranger Things, Wolfhard got his first acting gig off of Craigslist. The Canadian actor was asked about his first job in a recent interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show and the actor revealed that he was just happy to be alive after the filming. He said,

“Yeah, so it was a job that I got off of Craigslist, which like sounds really sketchy.”

“It sounds like you could be a ‘Dateline’ special,” Kelly Clarkson added.

“Absolutely. I mean I still live to tell the tale, which is good. It was an open casting call for this local music video for this local band. I had to play like this younger version of the singer and it was really fun. It was like a bunch of college kids. Super great, I didn’t die, so…” Finn Wolfhard continued.

Stranger Things is one of the most popular sci-fi series at the moment. The series, which first started airing in 2016, revolves around the town of Hawkins and the supernatural activities that occur after a laboratory performs experiments on human test subjects.

The series has been a massive critical success among the fans and critics and the cast is currently filming the final season. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Finn Wolfhard opened up about working on the final season of Stranger Things. Wolfhard also talked about how his character Mike is going to receive a bit more spotlight just like in season 1 and said,

“This last season is sort of a crossroads, and so we’re getting back into a lot of the dynamics of season one, which is really fun. There’s some ‘leader Mike’ moments, and it’s a very grand season, obviously. Every season has gotten bigger and bigger and bigger, and this season is huge, but it’s also kind of isolated as well.”
