May it the adventures of Din Djarin or Boba Fett, these stories are part of the wider narrative that was established by the original trilogies of the Star Wars franchise. But when Hayden Christensen brandished his bright red lightsaber in Ahsoka, the fans went absolutely hog wild, far exceeding the expectations of the star himself.

During his recent panel at MegaCon Orlando, the Obi-Wan Kenobi star talked about his most recent rodeo in the franchise as Anakin Skywalker. Here, even the interviewer was almost dying to inquire about how they executed the scene that is sure to go down in history, and to answer that, he credited the entire creation and execution to Lucasfilm’s Chief Creative Officer and director Dave Filoni. He said:

“You know, the episode is a really great one, and what Dave Filoni accomplished is really remarkable.Sort of the context of it, and the way it sort of informs Ahsoka‘s journey, it’s really clever storytelling. But you know, the response has been really nice. I get people coming up to me on the street just sort of saying like, ‘Ahsoka… episode five.’ And I go, ‘I know… me, too.’ But all the praise should be directed toward Dave Filoni.”

Fans believe that Filoni really outdid himself and is pleasantly surprised by the fandom, but Christensen also deserves every praise for making that scene look perfect.
