Astonishingly, there was no on-set medical staff to address her injuries, a surprising revelation considering Portman’s extensive experience in Hollywood. She revealed,

“I called the producer, I was like Could you get the medic? Because, you know, I need an ice pack or something right now. He was like, Oh, we don’t have a medic, because it was super low budget.” 

Despite the hardships faced during the filming of Black Swan, Portman’s resilience and dedication ultimately earned her the highest accolade, an Academy Award.
