At only 20 years old, Ramsey is soaring to heights in the film industry. With two major blockbusters under their belt, there’s no turning back for the English actor. Confiding in their talents, Ramsey recently opened up in an interview with LADbible that they are seeking a complex and versatile role for their next project. Bella Ramsey stated,

“I’ve not really played a villain yet. So I want to play a baddy. But like a really interesting, intricate, complex baddy.”

Furthermore, the Nottingham-born star was inquired if they would be interested in playing The Joker. Hence, Ramsey enthusiastically added,

“Yeah. I was actually thinking that as well. The Joker, someone really interesting like that.”

While there’s some tough competition in line in acing the complex DC character, previously portrayed by Heath Ledger and Joaquin Phoenix, Ramsey seems firm on making a DCU debut. Sharing their candid insights in the interview, Ramsey also unraveled about how far they have come. With immaculate fame over Ramsey’s head now, the actor is quite content with her steady success. They clarified that they try to be as patient and low-key as possible with interviews, and new projects among other things.

“I actually think that my journey through the industry has been done in a way that I’m really pleased about. Like, I think we chose the right route in terms of when Game of Thrones, everything started coming out. We chose the route of doing absolutely nothing, do like no interviews, give no personal information, just like it was so terrifying.”

Ramsey and their family intend to keep their life very private and not feed to the public’s attention. The BAFTA-winning actor also plays a drug addict inmate in season 2 of BBC’s Time. They revealed that the role had been particularly challenging because of the subject matter and also with their mom not around. Yet, the budding star is on their rise to dazzle the world with their extraordinary talents.
