Less often than most, there are times when stars are known to be quite sarcastic and playful when it comes to their comments and statements to give their fans something to chuckle at. This time, it was none other than Hollywood heartthrob Brad Pitt, who took a sly shot at Quentin Tarantino after working with him in Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood.

On the night of the 26th SAG Awards in the past, the actor won the award for his role in the aforementioned film for Best Male Actor in Supporting Role, and to show his gratitude for his co-stars, he started thanking them all. But to take a dig at Tarantino’s obsession with shooting the cast’s feet in his films, he also thanked his co-stars’ feet.

Friendly banter between co-stars and the rest of the crew during the making of a film builds character and helps them become comfortable around each other. And when that on-screen chemistry and subsequent performance got him an award, it was time to show his gratitude. After winning the SAG Award (via TNT) for Best Male Actor in Supporting Role, he took the mic and showed his gratitude, calling his co-stars Margot Robbie and Leonardo DiCaprio for their amazing performances that made Once Upon a Time… In Hollywood, it’s such an outstanding film.
But to convey his gratitude for the film director Quentin Tarantino, he decided to do so along with taking a dig at his quirk of shooting the feet of the characters in his films. He said:
“I want to thank my co-stars Leo, Margot Robbie, Margot Robbie’s feet, Margaret Qualy’s feet, Dakota Fanning’s feet. Seriously, Quentin has seperated more women from the shoes than the TSA.”
His co-stars, along with the director and the rest of the attendees in the venue, couldn’t help but laugh their guts out at this joke.

While today, the film industry may be all about blockbusters and dollar signs, back in the day, it was all about individual filmmakers and their visions that followed the path of critical excellence more than commercial success. Along with that, the period of the late 70s and early 80s mixed with the nostalgic and interesting tales related to the creation of films and stars that made them possible, the film acts like a time machine and becomes a window into the past glory of Hollywood.
