The first kiss is something that everyone remembers or cherishes for life in memory. But not Emily Blunt. She had a different experience of the first kiss that the actor has stored in her memory but certainly, she will never cherish it.

Now, as an actor, Blunt has done quite a lot of kissing scenes but she is still far from getting over the first kiss. Her 13th birthday was different, she had her first kiss and now, she revealed the name of the boy she kissed as well.

Emily Blunt’s first kiss was nothing but a terrible memory. Appearing in 

Jimmy Kimmel Live! Blunt revealed her first kiss on her 13th birthday. A Quiet Place actor said that at the birthday party, about 18 kids were playing the spin the bottle in the dining room of the actor’s house. “And I put up a sign on the door saying don’t come in mum. You know, and she listened. She did, yeah,” Blunt said. 

“I can’t believe she even like, she probably had too many kids, she was like all right, just let it go. I just, no one entered and we played spin the bottle and it was my first kiss.”

When the audience of the show cheered, the actor quickly interrupted sharing the experience. “No, it was a horror show,” Blunt said. “His name was, uh, is Ashley Clark and it was the 90s. It must have been the 90s. So, people had remembered the curtains when men had the curtains,” she added revealing the name of the boy she kissed.

“It was like it was a hairstyle. It was like parted in the middle and kind of floppy, like hanging like that. And it was like it was quite an attractive thing so if you were talking about boys you’d be like if you’ve seen his curtains?”

The actor further revealed that Clark had great curtains. “Like they were blonde and like he was very tall and very handsome,” Blunt said. The night was just getting started and the party was on swing.

Emily Blunt’s First Kiss Experience

The dining room game was rotating and eventually, it was 13-year-old Blunt’s turn to spin the bottle. And so she did. “So I spun the bottle it landed on Ashley,” Blunt revealed. “I thought, ‘Oh my god this is it,’” she added recalling her nervousness at the time.

“Oh my god this is it now I’d heard about the concept of French kissing but I thought, well that sounds weird. Like what? Why would that be pleasurable or nice? And it, and it wasn’t. It was, and it was just, I was just like horrified by the whole thing. And I just remember syrup tissue sort of like wiping my mouth afterwards, you know, it was just hard,” Blunt said of her first kiss.

However, the actor revealed that it was not Ashley to blame for the worst kiss of her life. Also, she has not kept in touch with Clark. “I don’t know what he’s up to right now what isn’t he up to, you know?” the Sicario actor joked.

Blunt is all set to appear in Christopher Nolan’s highly anticipated summer release, Oppenheimer alongside Cillian Murphy, Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr., Matt Damon, Rami Malek, and co. Oppenheimer will hit theatres on  21 July 2023.
