Egerton to star as Eggsy once again

Fans have loved Taron Egerton as Gary ‘Eggsy’ Unwin in the two Kingsman movies, wanting him to come back as the British spy once again. Egerton himself in March 2023 showed his interest in playing the character again while also hinting it might be his last appearance (via Collider).

Meanwhile, director Matthew Vaughn provided a promising update about the expected threequel while speaking at the New York Comic Con (via ScreenRant). He confirmed that Kingman 3, currently titled The Blue Blood, is on its way with the shoot expected to start next year.

Even though the details of the plot and cast have not yet been revealed, fans are nonetheless excited about the prospect of having Egerton in one of his most fan-favorite roles. However, it would be worth watching how the third part performs since the 2021 prequel, The King’s Man was a major box-office disappointment.
