In a press conference, Spielberg revealed that he has been learning a lot from young filmmakers and directors over the past few years, and is especially awestruck by the Oscar-Winning duo, The Daniels.

“I learn actually more from young filmmakers today than I do from some of the older filmmakers that made movies 80, 90, 60 years ago. Because some of the new filmmakers today are doing such audacious work. Um.. The Daniels, such amazing, genius work on Everything Everywhere All At Once.”

The illustrious director said while praising The Daniels. Such high praise coming from a director like Steven Spielberg certainly means a lot, especially when the due themselves mentioned that it was the ET director who inspired them.
