While the appeal of Euphoria might be targeted toward late teens and early youths in general, the message that the show wants to convey is to work through your tough times, as there’s always a bright light at the end of the tunnel. Keeping this message at the forefront of the series is Zendaya, who has come a long way from being a teen actor on Disney in the past.

During an interview with Vogue, Zendaya was talking about how it felt to become such a sensation in such a short span of time along with the journey she took and the things she learned. While talking about all of it, the interviewer asked what it felt like to grow up from a Disney star to a mature Hollywood actor and how in that transition she was able to keep her good image. The Spider-Man: No Way Home star replied, saying:

“When I wasn’t in the position where I could say no to things, I would say yes and then, unfortunately, if it didn’t feel good all the way through my body and my being, it would always come back to haunt me. I’ve also learned to deal with that in the past few months by trying not to allow myself to worry or stress about the next move or what it is.”

While it may be a hard thing to move forward, we always have to remember that change is a process that requires time and distance from certain things to put certain things into perspective.
