The Baby Driver actor graced The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for the promotion of his book Act Like You Got Some Sense. In the interview, he shared how his family became the inspiration for the book. The star shared in the interview about his open communication with his daughters. He also revealed that he treats his daughters like adults.
The actor shared that he tries to implement what his grandparents have taught him, with his daughters. Foxx said,
“I wanted to break down those barriers with your daughters because your daughter’s gonna need you. Especially when it comes to guys and relationships, I mean who else would know better than us? And so, by doing it early it pays dividends when they really have serious questions about guys I’m gonna kill.”

Jamie Foxx took the help of Snoop Dogg to scare his daughter’s boyfriend
The actor also opened up on the dating life of his daughters, Corinne Foxx and Annalise Bishop. The White House Down actor talked about his approach toward the dating life of his daughters. He revealed that he once called his good friend and legendary rapper Snoop Dogg to help intimidate his daughter’s boyfriend. However, Snoop Dogg’s conversation took a completely different turn than he had expected.
The actor recalled,
“What happened was my daughter, who didn’t know that I had already run a background check on her boyfriend, comes to the crib, and Snoop happens to be there. I said, ‘Snoop there he is right there. Shake him up.’”
“Snoop walked over to my daughter’s boyfriend and just said, ‘Hey what’s up? What’s up cuz. Hey, look here you know. We her uncles, you know what I’m saying? So act accordingly homie.’”
Jamie Foxx explained that he wanted to make it clear to his daughter’s boyfriend that she has got people who love her dearly. He added that if he ever messed with his daughter, Snoop Dogg will go after him.
Recently, fans of the singer, comic, and actor Jamie Foxx are concerned for his health after he was admitted to the hospital a few months back becauseof a medical setback. His illness was not disclosed, but reportedly he is doing better now. Foxx shared in an Instagram video on July 21 about his health condition, stating he ‘went to hell and back’. He added that he did not wish his fan to see him sick and weak, hence he was keeping things private for the past few months while recovering.
