In this game, you can choose how to approach every encounter with your drone companion, called KOBY. You can engage in a more covert battle without attracting attention. You can even lure enemies with bait and kill them one by one. Likewise, you will control Zoe, a very agile character who will be very quick with maneuvers, to reach the next stage of the level. This title will offer a ton of freedom for the player.

You will have some RPG aspects that will be key to keeping progressing in the game; you can dodge and upgrade Zoe’s arsenal to make every new encounter faster. KOBY will be useful for entering fight mode; this drone allows you to scan the area to see every enemy and know how to approach the battle ahead. This game has a lot of inspiration from titles like Ghostrunner or the Nier franchise, where action is the main feature.

At the moment, Steel Seed doesn’t have a release date, but this game will be available sometime at the end of this year for PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. The studio behind the project has several games in development, based on Rome. This title can make a real difference and will prove the quality that this team can offer. Another IP, Close to the Sun, debuted in 2019 as a mystery puzzle experience.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
