The confirmation of the theory also comes from the fact that Joy Boy handled most of the poneglyphs. He left historic recordings on the poneglyphs and even an apology to the people of Fish-Man Island. Thus, there is a big chance that Joy Boy imbued the poneglyphs with Haki to keep them and the information present on them intact.
Also, the Haki stored within the Iron Giant is most likely 800 years old, but still, it managed to take down all the members of the Gorosei with a single attack. This not only speaks for the strength of Joy Boy but also confirms Kaido’s comment about Haki being the supreme power in One Piece.
