Transformers: Rise of the Beasts finally made it to the theaters and fans were more than happy to see their beloved Autobots on big screens once again. Quite a few of their projects have been underwhelming but a majority of them have won the hearts of the audience immediately. The latest movie saw the alliance between the citizens of Cybertron and the Maximals.

There was a lot introduced in the movie but nothing was as enticing as the mid-credit scene. The scene in question had a lot of fans being conflicted about whether or not they liked what direction the franchise would be going to. However, there was something that might as well have been highly awaited as well. A crossover no one had expected but no one knew they needed.

Transformers Meet G.I. Joe

In the mid-credit scene of Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, there was a brief moment where Anthony Ramos’s character was being asked to work for an organization because of how big of an asset he would be. However, Noah kept on denying having any connection with the Autobots. By the end of the scene, Agent Burke opens a secret door that reveals an entire base behind him. In awe of his surroundings, Ramos’s character takes the business card given to him.

What the audience didn’t expect was to see the term, ‘G.I. Joe.’ written on the back. With that, an entire crossover was confirmed. Perhaps in the next movie, the Autobots and Maximals can work hand in hand with G.I. Joe. This is not the first time there has been a G.I. Joe crossover. Although it was not as successful either. Although this level of crossover could easily compete with some of the biggest franchises including the Marvel Cinematic Universe as well as the DC Universe, not every fan is as excited.

Snake Eyes was the first crossover fans had to witness with G.I. Joe. The movie had a lot of excitement when it was supposed to release. However, the ultimate outcome had not been what the actors and directors would have expected. The movie proved to be underwhelming and fans were not fond of what they saw.

A similar situation is taking place with what could become an entire franchise of crossovers with Transformers and G.I. Joe. The audience was not okay with this and are continuously worried about how this would be executed and whether or not it would be good. Although, there is a sense of excitement amongst them as well.

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts is now available to watch in theaters.
