Despite Night 2’s match being held under Bloodline rules, and various members including Johnson creating roadblocks for Rhodes, the American Nightmare emerged victorious at the end. Many superstars came to aid Rhodes, including The Undertaker, who chokeslammed the Rock. It seems the Final Boss is not done with the Deadman yet, as he seeks revenge for his actions.

There were a lot of expectations from the Roman Reigns-Cody Rhodes WrestleMania XL match. Various Bloodline members including Solo Sikoa and Dwayne Johnson added to Rhodes’ woes during the match.

However, luck was in Rhodes’ favor, as many WWE superstars including John Cena and the Undertaker took down those two individuals. The Undertaker’s appearance was unexpected, and his faceoff with the Rock reminded one of the Attitude era as audiences cheered for the return of the Deadman. He chokeslammed Johnson and it created hysteria among fans.

After his humiliation that night, The Rock seems to be pissed at the Undertake and wants payback. Johnson wrote on his Instagram about how The Undertaker ruined his party. He made an interesting comment that he would see him down the road, teasing that he might enact revenge on him. Johnson wrote,

“The guy sure knows how to ruin a party. I’ll see you down the road, my friend. Paybacks a bi*ch for you – but fun for me.”

Fans of The Undertaker know that the Deadman does not like other superstars talking crap about him behind his back. The Undertaker has been retired since 2020. However, his recent appearance could hint at a possible appearance similar to it in the future. The Undertaker might come back and address the Rock’s statements which will be a treat for audiences.

Fans got the greatest surprise at WrestleMania XL where Mark Calaway/ The Undertaker returned to help Cody Rhodes and get rid of Bloodline interference. He took down The Rock with a Chokeslam and it reminded everyone what the Undertaker was all about. However, the two superstars were all love behind the scenes and were ecstatic about creating that great moment for fans.

In a recent episode of Calaway’s podcast Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway, Calaway stated that it was a great weekend for him at WrestleMania XL and praised The Rock’s enthusiasm in the ring. He also pointed out that The Rock was very gracious with him and everybody backstage despite being one of the biggest movie stars in the world. Calaway said,

“It was fun, it just was. It was like a little flashback. All my dealings with him, that night, he was so gracious. I just sensed he was happy being involved in that again. Obviously, he’s probably the biggest movie star out there. You could tell he was in his element and he was so kind and gracious to everybody. It was good to see. Overall, what a great week.”

Following his WrestleMania run, The Rock is now taking some time off the ring and will start training (via X) for his new sports drama The Smashing Machine where he will play Mark Kerr. The film will be directed by Benny Safdie and Johnson’s Jungle Cruise co-star Emily Bunt is reportedly joining him in the film.
