Andrew Garfield Comes Out as Gay

The Mainstream actor had worked in Tony Kushner’s two-part play Angels in America as Prior Walter, a young New York man living with AIDS. During an exclusive interview, Andrew Garfield acknowledged that in order to prepare for the homosexual role he had to binge-watch RuPaul’s Drag Race.

“Every Sunday I would have eight friends over and we would just watch Ru. I mean every single series of RuPaul’s Drag Race. I mean every series. This is my life outside of this play. I am a gay man right now just without the physical act–that’s all.”

However, in order to avoid confusion, the Never Let Me Go actor affirmed his sexual orientation, and set the record straight by clearly affirming that he is not gay. But he added that there may be a time in the future when he is willing to “explore that part of the garden.”

“As far as I know, I am not a gay man. Maybe I’ll have an awakening later in my life, which I’m sure will be wonderful and I’ll get to explore that part of the garden, but right now I’m secluded to my area, which is wonderful, as well.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race is an immensely popular show because it combines different themes such as reality competition, entertainment, and representation of LGBTQIA+ representation. The show is watched by a number of celebrities in Hollywood and they have acknowledged the show as entertaining and inspiring to watch.

Andrew Garfield Wasn’t Thrilled To Flaunt His Physique During an Interview

During the promotion of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the actor was giving an interview on The Hot Hits, where he referred to the Spider-Man suit as his second skin. In response, the interviewer asked Andrew Garfield to take off his shirt. The Hacksaw Ridge actor did not entertain the request of the interviewer, telling her to not “bring your fantasy into the interview.”

“What do you mean to show? Don’t bring your fantasy into the interview. I was not prepared to take my shirt off whether the beginning of this interview slouched into this column”

Garfield’s stern response had left the interviewer surprised, as she asked him about his cardigan. The actor replied, “Thank you, yeah. just I’ve been wearing it all day”.

The Breathe actor had recently teased the fans about his possible return to the franchise. Fans are excited to watch Andrew Garfield return as the web-slinger so that he can complete his trilogy. However, there has been no official confirmation if he will return for a third solo outing or not.
