Actor Matt Damon will be next seen in the upcoming heist comedy film The Instigators. While promoting the movie, Damon sat down for a conversation with Access Hollywood, where he spoke on several topics.
During the interview, Damon was also asked about the internet dubbing him and actor Jesse Plemons lookalikes. Damon was shown a clip of Plemons reacting to the physical resemblance between the two, having played a younger version of Damon’s character in the 2000 film All the Pretty Horses.
I love what he’s done the choices he makes he’s so he’s incredible to watch. I’m proud of the comparison.
Damon made the above statement, praising Plemons for his work and expressing a desire to collaborate with him in the future.
The Ford v Ferrari actor admitted that he was surprised by the uncanny resemblance between him and Plemons when the latter was eleven and played a younger version of his character in a movie. However, Damon also revealed no one had tried casting him and Plemons together since the 2000 movie.

Jesse Plemons has quickly established himself as one of the brightest actors, with his performance in Civil War receiving rave reviews. Plemons was also asked about the comparisons between him and Damon during a red carpet-event.
He was quizzed about the resemblance by Access Hollywood. Plemons admitted that he hadn’t met Damon since they filmed All the Pretty Horses.
I’m definitely flattered by the comparison. I would be curious to hear his thoughts if he’s annoyed.
Plemons made the above statement about fans calling him a doppelganger of Damon. While Plemons felt Damon would be annoyed by the comparisons, the senior actor was pleased by people calling him a lookalike of his junior.
Furthermore, Damon had nothing but the kindest words for Plemons and seemed proud of his supposed doppelganger’s career. As a result, we can only hope that Plemons and Damon get an opportunity to reunite for a project soon.
