Could Hugh Jackman Be James Bond?

Before Daniel Craig came on board to play the iconic James Bond, producer Barbara Broccoli had approached Australian star Hugh Jackman for the role. Jackman, who was an integral part of the X-Men films, turned down the offer as he wanted to play different characters. After Craig’s unprecedented success through, Jackman confessed that he was filled with a sense of regret at not signing on for the part. The Wolverine actor trolled Craig lightheartedly while he was still James Bond and said,

“I will just wait. The good thing about Daniel is he’s, what, 62 now, isn’t he? He’s falling apart at the seams. So I just keep telling him, ‘I’m ready, whenever you want to let him go, I’m ready.’ The good thing is I have also got a British passport,”
