The recent San Diego Comic Con event just happened celebrating all our favourites in geek culture, and as usual giving us juicy new teases for shows, comics, games and movies. This year includes an engaging new cinematic trailer for Immortals of Aveum, a game coming out at the end of this summer. Despite many big names generally not presenting anything at SDCC this year, there have still been several interesting news updates and info drops to share with you the readers. I’m sure you’ve at least seen a certain new trailer featuring a certain famous black suit.
Have you heard of Immortals of Aveum?
Immortals of Aveum was amongst one of the many games showcased during the event by developers Ascendant Studios. For those of you who are not overly familiar with the title, here is a little bit of a synopsis. Long ago, Aveum (the location for the game) was split into five seperate kingdoms, with a chasm at their center being the divide between them. Aveum is a place where magic energy exists. Over time, the five kingdoms contested for control over the power of Aveum’s magic, eventually leading to the five kingdoms being reduced to just two kingdoms. The kingdoms of Lucium and Rasharn still remain and continue to be fixed in a bloody war for magic.
You play as a protagonist named Jak who has been blessed with the gift of skills in using Aveum’s magic, whilst longing to be one of the Immortals of Aveum. This is a single player first person shooter where your character uses battle mage powers instead of bullets to fight off the evil antagonist Sandrakk. Grow and learn new powers to use in stylish shooting moves against the hordes of enemies in your way.
Immortals of Aveum is Something a Little Different
