During the game, Jimmy Carr made a dark joke about Grande that left the Dangerous Woman singer speechless. However, she is known to come up with some sassy clapbacks and her befitting response came a little later in the show, surprising Carr.
However, both the celebrities had no bad blood between them at the end of the fun segment. Both of them even shared their celebrity encounter with the one and only Jim Carrey. The show also featured actor and comedian Will Arnett as the third guest in the episode.

Ariana Grande showed her inexperience in playing the game of Roulette when she missed landing the ball in the wheel. The Chatty Man Roulette host Alan Carr teased Grande for the mistake, sharing, “You had one job.” However, it was Jimmy Carr‘s response that left Grande speechless and sent Alan Carr and the audience into fits of laughter.
Carr made a dark joke with a s*xual undertone, when he shared, “In my head, you were so much better with balls.” The camera cut to Grande’s face which had a confused expression of shock and offense. The Eternal Sunshine singer didn’t have a response for Carr, but she sure did not let the dark joke slide. Her response to the 8 Out of 10 Cats presenter came later in the show when Carr revealed his weird celebrity encounter with Cameron Diaz.
He shared the story about his interaction with Diaz while making his first appearance on The Tonight Show in the United States. However, Grande interrupted the story midway to ask him one question, “Did you imagine how she would be with balls as well?”. While Jimmy Carr was surprised at the response for like a second, he responded, “Immediately,” and continued like nothing happened.
However, host Alan Carr was impressed with the Yours Truly singer and high-fived Grande for the comeback. They also made a celebratory move before listening to the former Roast Battle host’s rest of the story.
Ariana Grande and Jimmy Carr Shared Their Accounts Of Meeting Jim Carrey
When the Roulette wheel stopped at ‘Celebrity Encounters’ during the segment, Ariana Grande immediately had a story to share. She recalled the time when she met her dream celebrity, Jim Carrey. She revealed that when she met her icon, she absolutely cried her eyes out. Grande shared that the Yes Man actor was really nice and even told her to “stay human”.
While Grande shared her heartfelt story about meeting Carrey, Jimmy Carr also had a story to share about meeting the Ace Ventura star. Carr met Carrey when he walked into a lift and did nothing but raise an eyebrow to acknowledge him. However, Carrey being the hilariously funny guy from his movies did a “Mexican wave” with his eyebrows to acknowledge Carr.
While Carr couldn’t fully imitate Carrey’s gesture towards him, the audience could totally imagine the Liar Liar actor doing the eyebrow wave. Grande and Carr both left the show with no bad blood, but Carr once again made dark jokes about Grande in another show.
During an episode of his show, Your Face or Mine?, Carr went on to make fun of the Positions singer’s hairline before making another s*xually offensive joke about her.
