There has been a lot of buzz around the last major MCU project of the year, which happens to be the release of Brie Larson’s upcoming film The Marvels. While the film may have been getting a lot of attention in recent times, not all of it seems to stem from the excitement to see the star back as Captain Marvel in the franchise.
In fact, for a long time since the release of the first trailer, the public has been bashing the film, claiming that this would just be another disappointment for Marvel Studios. Thus, to restore the faith of the audience in the film, it has released its final trailer. However, this one seems to have upset the fans more than before by adding shots from prior MCU masterpieces.
The New Trailer Of The Marvels Receives Grim Response From Fans
Brie Larson doesn’t have the fondest of memories while playing the character of Captain Marvel in the MCU, especially when it comes to the response of the fans towards her character. Still, keeping her head high, she continues to play her role as the true First Avenger in that franchise. And with the release of The Marvels approaching soon, she might be able to turn the fans towards her.
Alas, it seems as though the latest trailer to generate hype around the film managed to have the opposite effect on the fans.

In the aforementioned trailer, fans can see just how much the upcoming film has in store for the audience to witness, but most of the fans cannot overlook the shots from films like The Avengers, Iron Man, and Captain America that are added into the mix. This has many fans believing that this is being done on purpose.
Be there for the moment that changes everything.

The only explanation that fans have is that the film in itself is nothing to ride home about, which is why Marvel Studios is trying to compensate for the lack of a good film by reminding us of the good old days of the MCU. Fans have taken to X to give their opinions on the matter.
Including footage of Iron Man and Captain America is not gonna help generate any hype
