Over the years with advancements in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there has been a growing theory about the infinity stones. What Marvel has been trying to do in the post-Thanos era is somewhat interesting to witness, which also gave birth to a popular fan theory that infinity stones can’t be destroyed.
Although previously it was believed that after Avengers: Endgame the infinity stones were destroyed in the main timeline, it now seems that they actually didn’t. Instead, here comes the fan theory that suggests that the stones are being reborn as MCU heroes.
Fan Theory Suggests Infinity Stones Can’t be Destroyed
We are all well-versed in the story of how the six infinity stones were forged at the dawn of each Universe in the Marvel Multiverse. But what’s bewildering fans about the infinity stones is how they were supposed to get destroyed in Avengers: Endgame, but instead they are still surviving in different forms.
Largely based on color theory, the six infinity stones representing space, reality, time, power, mind, and soul were first spotted in Avengers: Infinity War. But in the following 2019 sequel of Endgame, the stones were supposed to get destroyed in the main timeline. But now it seems, the all-powerful stones are not only difficult to be destroyed but they are possibly being reborn.
As per recent fan theory, the stones are being recreated in specific ways, stating that half of those stones have already been manifested in the form of Marvel heroes. Sparking a bizarre but quite believable theory that the infinity stones are being born as Marvel heroes, fans have come up with proper explanations and examples.
Possibly, the Infinity Stones are Being Reborn as MCU Heroes
As per The Marvelous Wave, the YouTube channel teased the idea of how the infinity stones might be getting personified on a multiversal level. Claiming that these powerful forces have now deities associated with them, the channel used the obvious example of Tom Hiddleston’s Loki.
Discussing how the Marvel TV series Loki, featured Tom Hiddleston as the new, all-powerful, time-traveling Loki, The Marvelous Wave claimed that the green Time stone represents the Norse character. Sitting on the throne at the center of the multiverse holding the timelines together with his green magic, the Time Stone is perhaps reborn as Loki.
Further, getting into detail and using the best other example of the Reality stone, the YouTube channel tied it to Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch. Stating how the red-colored Reality stone overlaps with her magical hue and her ability to tamper reality with magic, the fan theory hinted that the Reality stone is perhaps tied to Elizabeth Olsen’s character.
Later on, concluding the video by tying The Watcher with the blue Space stone, Reed Richard variant with the yellow Mind stone, and the living tribunal with the orange Soul stone, The Marvelous Wave left behind the purple Power stone. Several other outlets corroborating the fan theory thus tied Power Stone to either Agatha Harkness or to Wakanda’s new Black Panther, Shuri.
