Known for portraying the God of Mischief, Loki, in the MCU, Tom Hiddleston has won over millions of hearts not only with his on-screen performances but also with his wonderful and charming personality. In an earlier interview, the Hollywood star shared a hypothetical scenario of becoming a pole dancer if he woke up as a woman one day.
And fans took the liberty to make it happen through countless fan art, which showed the Loki actor as a pole dancer. The popularity of these creations has reached such heights that even his Marvel co-star, Samuel L. Jackson, is aware of his amusing hidden talent.
Samuel L. Jackson is Well Aware of Tom Hiddleston’s Hidden Persona
In an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, actor Tom Hiddleston discussed the popular fan art of his Marvel character, Loki, some of which are specifically based on a scene from his MCU debut in the 2011 superhero film Thor.
The actor shared that one of the scenes of the movie features him in combat with Chris Hemsworth’s Thor, saying, “I jump in the air…and I bring the spear down and it wedges” in the floor. He then uses it to go around and kick the God of Thunder. The sequence, however, has taken on a humorous twist in fan depictions, with the actor portrayed as a pole dancer.
The Crimson Peak star acknowledged the same during his appearance on the talk show, saying, “[It] has been interpreted by fans as… a demonstration of my hidden talent at pole-dancing.” His co-star Samuel L. Jackson, who joined him on the talk show, seemed to be aware of Hiddleston’s hidden persona.
“Pole dancing,” he said along with the actor, mentioning his hidden talent. The talk show host, Graham Norton, also surprised the actor with a fan art depicting Loki pole dancing, resulting in an awkward reaction from Hiddleston and laughter from fellow guests.
Tom Hiddleston’s Shared His Interest in Pole Dancing
Tom Hiddleston surprised his fans while discussing an intriguing scenario about waking up as a woman. When asked what he would do in such a situation, he humorously mentioned implants, stating, “Implants… I would say.” After clarifying his perspective, he was asked what he would do as a woman.
Hiddleston, known for his candid and whimsical behavior, said, “I might go pole dancing…Yeah. See what that feels like.” While it is unclear if this statement led fans to bring the Primetime Emmy nominee’s hypothetical persona to life in fan art, they surely love the actor for candidly expressing his thoughts during the interview.
However, the English actor is an avid dance lover and has expressed his genuine passion for dancing. “Anyone who’s known me for any length of time knows that I love dancing,” he said, as per Vulture, emphasizing that he is often the first and last on the dance floor at parties.
