Under a microscope, fans would start to see who overpowers whom, and clearly, this has become the biggest debate on the internet. Both are terrifying villains, but who is the more ‘hero’ among these two evils?

Invincible Season 2’s Latest Episode Saw Omni-Man Save Thraxans From Crashing Into A Black Hole

Both Omni-Man and Homelander have shown astonishing strength and power throughout their respective shows. There’s no question that inside their worlds, they are the big baddies. Homelander has never encountered an enemy he did not take down, and he did it quite so easily without breaking a sweat.

On the other hand, Omni-Man has the power to conquer worlds, and more than that, he can travel faster than the speed of light, immediately repair damaged body tissues, and endure the vacuum of space.

With the fourth episode of Invincible Season 2 finally arriving on Prime Video, fans have seen Omni-Man save a vessel from getting sucked by a black hole. A character who can withstand that much intensity proves his power is beyond comparison. This finally settles the long debate between Omni-Man versus Homelander!

Invincible Production Team Will Take A Holiday Break

The remaining episodes of Invincible Season 2 will premiere in early 2024. Co-creator Robert Kirkman shared with TechRadar why they are taking a short break after the release of the first part:

We’re still putting the final polish on the last four episodes, so it made sense, scheduling-wise, to take a break over the holidays. We also realized that there’s a really strong narrative break [between episodes 4 and 5] that makes season 2 feel like two completely different seasons, and it gives us a lot of opportunity to build anticipation for episode 5.”

While this is definitely frustrating for many fans, it also means the production team is making sure they are only delivering the best and highest quality show on television. Kirkman also told a panel at Comic-Con before that they need enough time to prepare (via Variety):

This is an extremely complicated show. It’s an hour-long animated series. There are so many characters and scenes. We really had to wrap our heads around how this production was going to be managed.”

The Invincible team will pause for a while but will soon resume once the holiday season is over. In the meantime, Season 2 Episodes 1 to 4 are available to stream via Prime Video.
