Brian Cox Likes To Yell

Sarah Snook recently did an interview with the Times, where she talked about her experience working on the set of the HBO hit series, Succession. Here, she happened to let it slip that Brian Cox has the habit of going into fits of rage on the set of the series. She is unsure whether it is real or an act. Regardless, it is a very extreme showcasing of anger and aggression.

“He has a habit of sometimes going into a false — or could it be real, who knows? — diabetic rage, where he’ll go [growl] all of a sudden.” said Snook.

Referring to it, as being all of a sudden, she added that he would just start growling or yelling very loudly around the set. It would seem that this was not a spectacle of his mood or a performance of his temper. Rather, it had much more heartfelt intentions.

Brian Cox Would Get Angry For The Crew

Sarah Snook then went on to elaborate, saying that she believes that Brian Cox is trying to get the crew hyped up for work and what they are filming on that particular day. He tries to get the adrenaline rushing in his co-workers so that progress can be made and things on set can move a lot faster.

“I think part of it’s a little of trying to just jolt the energy of the set and rustle a few feathers, get it going and moving faster. The quality of his voice can be very terrifying sometimes, for sure. Thunderous.” Snook continued.

While the intentions of this are heartfelt and good, it is safe to say that this is quite a peculiar way of motivating his co-workers. Snook spoke on exactly this stating that oftentimes, though everyone understands what he is trying to do, the tone of his voice can be extremely terrifying.
