It’s hard to imagine veteran actor Jackie Chan as a misogynist but according to alleged reports, this does seem to be a true case for the actor. Chan once declared Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger to be “nothing” in Terminator 2.

The actor seemed to boast an ego that was not found appropriate by the people as The Tuxedo actor blatantly stated that Sylvester Stallone was nothing compared to him. The misogynist rumors were also confirmed by Oscar-winning actress Michelle Yeoh when she called Chan a “male chauvinistic pig” for his views on women working in the industry!

Jackie Chan Felt Himself Greater Than Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger!

With great fame comes the inevitable ego (except for some). Jackie Chan, on the outside, seems a humble man that just wants to spread happiness and joy through his works. The actor has a dark side however, that is full of misogynist comments and his ego that deemed Arnold Schwarzenegger as worthless in The Terminator franchise.

After his misogynistic comments were confirmed and berated by Michelle Yeoh, the Police Story actor doesn’t seem to stop as he went on to humiliate Hollywood legends, Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Stating that Schwarzenegger was of no importance in Terminator 2: Judgement Day, the actor also stated that Sylvester Stallone was nothing compared to Jackie Chan in movies!

“Look at Jurassic Park. Few people know the names of the main actors; they remember the dinosaurs and that it was a Spielberg film. Take Terminator 2. The director’s good; the special effects are good; Schwarzenegger is nothing. Anyone could have played his part.”

The actor further continued that his fame was greater than Sylvester Stallone’s since people in Asia came to watch the Vanguard actor’s movies no matter the title or the story.

“Take First Blood. Stallone is good. But in Asia, everyone comes to see Jackie Chan in a Jackie Chan film. It doesn’t matter what the title is or what the story is about. Only Jackie Chan can do it,”

This seemed to be odd to the people since fans had never expected the Rush Hour actor to be so demeaning to other people. Chan had also once stated that women belonged in the kitchen and not in the working industry which was quickly berated by his friend Michelle Yeoh.

During the early days, the recently Oscar-winning actress Michelle Yeoh and Jackie Chan were pretty great friends. In an old interview, the Everything Everywhere All At Once actress even went as far as to call The Karate Kid actor a “male chauvinistic pig” for his statements on women.

“Actually he’s a male chauvinistic pig” Michelle Yeoh started saying. “Jackie and I are very good friends. I say this to him you know? to his face. He always believes that women should stay at home and cook and don’t do anything and be the victim except for Michelle!”

Following his recent movies, Jackie Chan currently has 7 projects lined up including the famous rumored Rush Hour 4. The actor will also be seen in the classic film franchise Police Story as the movie New Police Story 2 undergoes development.
