After making headlines in April 2024, for his highly anticipated appearance at Netflix’s live show The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady as a part of the Netflix Is A Joke Fest 2024, the NFL legend finally took to the stage on May 5. Hosted by Kevin Hart, the former quarterback was roasted by his former teammates and celebrities, during the event.
However, while being subject to sarcasm and lighthearted jabs, Tom Brady personally fired some shots at a few renowned celebrities. During one of the funniest moments of the show via Marca, Brady aimed his jokes at global pop icon Taylor Swift. With the event being held at Kansas City, Brady fired his shots at Swift for she previously performed her Eras Tous at Arrowhead Stadium, Kansas.
“Kansas City, you say your stadium is the loudest? It helps when your fans are 14-year-old girls. And in honor of Tay Tay, let’s take a look of the Chiefs eras; terrible for 50 years, good for five, shake it off.”
During the event, Tom Brady not only roasted Taylor Swift but also her massive fanbase. But instead of stopping there, Brady further went to fire shots at Swift’s current love interest Travis Kelce. Connecting the pop star’s Kansas City performance with Kelce’s team, Kansas City Chiefs, Brady made a harmless joke.

While the former NFL quarterback roasted Taylor Swift, her fanbase, and Travis Kelce on a lighthearted note, the Swifties don’t appear to have taken it that way. Gathering on X to defend their icon, Swift’s fans burned Brady with their sarcasm and vowed revenge on the NFL legend.
It seems Tom Brady will have to learn the hard way, not to mess with the Swifties or their Queen, Taylor Swift. Following Brady’s lighthearted jab, the fans called him out for his pathetic condition where he has to make jokes about Swift to derive cheap laughter. One user even noted that while Brady believes he roasted the pop star, it’s actually him who got burned.
