Why Did Clint Eastwood’s Son Prefer This Profession Over Acting?

Scott Eastwood‘s life includes a variety of activities outside of acting and modeling. He is a man of many talents, and one of those talents is working at bars. At one point, he decided to go into business with a partner to buy a bar, and today he is the owner of one (as per PEOPLE).

However, what about working as a bartender made him more appealing? Scott Eastwood, the son of well-known actor Clint Eastwood, has acknowledged that working as a bartender provided more opportunities to meet people and find love than pursuing an acting career.

Eastwood, 37, is extremely casual, much like his renowned actor-director father, to whom he bears a striking resemblance. He explained to GQ:

“I was learning f*cking lines behind the bar. Closing at like 3am, and then driving up to LA the next morning after five hours’ sleep. I’d totally burn an audition, not do well, and drive back home, bartending that night, doing it again over and over.”

He even insisted, unlike Sandra Bullock, that the best way to meet women was to work as a bartender rather than an actor.

“That was probably the wildest time… It still beats out being in movies or whatever. It still beats out all that, a thousand times.”

Sandra Bullock Said Film Sets Are ‘Greatest Dating Service On The Planet’

Sandra Bullock is renowned for having romantic ties to a few of her male co-stars. Following their collaboration on the 1996 movie, A Time To Kill, she started dating Matthew McConaughey. The two of them remained friends after their amicable breakup. She once revealed to Cosmopolitan:

“It’s the work we both put in. There’s a great amount of respect and love. I feel very cared for by Matthew. No matter where he is in his life or where I am in mine—he could be married—I know we would stay close.”

Ryan Gosling, whom she met on the Murder by Numbers set, was another fellow actor she earlier dated. Bullock explained why it was so typical for movie stars to fall in love while filming a scene.

She added the following:

“It’s the greatest dating service on the planet. You take two people who normally can’t leave the house, who don’t know if people are with them for the right reasons, and they get paired up because they have chemistry, and they happen to fall in love.”

When asked what kind of person she would like to get along with, she was quoted as saying:

“I love people who are artistic, confident, and even cocky but with an underlying modesty that is humbling. They also have to have a wicked sense of humor, and I have to feel challenged. If somebody does not swat it right back to me, I’ll get bored.”
