Scarlett Johansson’s iconic portrayal of Black Widow was impeccable and it is indeed hard to imagine anyone else playing the character. However, surprisingly, Johansson wasn’t the first choice for the character, as the role of Black Widow was initially offered to Emily Blunt. However, Blunt turned down the role, claiming, “It just wasn’t the right time.”

Indeed, it’s a true saying that what’s meant for you, finds its way. Johansson is proud of herself for acing the role, as during an interview with Vanity Fair, the actress said,
