Jennifer Lawrence’s not-so-good experience with her A-List co-stars

While working with people like Leonardo DiCaprio and Meryl Streep is a dream for many, some have their own kind of experiences. Jennifer Lawrence sarcastically commented that the day when she had to film a sequence with both Chalamet and the Titanic star, they didn’t let her have a moment of peace.

The revelation came in an episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert where the actress termed her experience as “misery”. The film was shot soon after the COVID lockdown and that was also a reason why Timothee Chalamet was way too excited after getting out of his house. While on the other hand, the Passengers star also mimicked Leonardo DiCaprio which was deemed as “uncanny” by the host.

“It was the most annoying day of my life, I’ll tell you that. They drove me crazy that day. I don’t know what it was. Timothée was just excited to be out of the house, I think it was his first scene. And Leo had picked the song that was playing in the car and was just like, ‘You know, this song is about blah, blah, blah.’ I just remember being in absolute misery that day. It was hell.”

Later on, Jennifer Lawrence also praised her co-stars by confessing that it was “cool” sharing screen space with such stars. Don’t Look Up despite receiving mixed reviews and being controversial received an amazing number of views and fulfilled Jennifer Lawrence’s long-time wish of working with Adam McKay.
