Kristen Stewart Almost Missed Out On Meeting Fiance Dylan Meyer
Kristen Stewart’s relationship status has been a subject of public scrutiny multiple times since her Twilight days. According to W Magazine, she has reportedly dated her co-stars Anton Yelchin and Michael Angarano. Her most publicized relationship was when she was linked with her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson. The couple split after Stewart’s affair with director Rupert Sanders was revealed (via US Weekly).
According to The Guardian, Kristen Stewart came out as bisexual in 2017, and in 2019, Kristen Stewart reportedly started dating screenwriter Dylan Meyer and the couple got engaged two years later in 2021. The actress mentioned that they first met on the sets of the 2015 film American Ultra.
While the two met that far back, they could not get together as they were busy with other things. In an interview with Rolling Stone, Stewart revealed that she was responsible for them not getting together earlier as she never responded to Meyer’s email. She said,
“We were both so wrapped up in f*cking other things, literally…It was my fault, for sure. But then I very much made this [relationship] happen. I was intense because I was just positive.”
Kristen Stewart revealed that although they got engaged in 2021, the couple had to postpone their plans for a while since they were directing their own projects. Stewart was working on his feature film directorial debut The Chronology of Water.
Kristen Stewart Wants To Have Babies With Dylan Meyer
In the interview with Rolling Stone, Kristen Stewart revealed how head-over-heels in love she was with her fiance Dylan Meyer. She spoke about how strong their partnership was and how they had similar interests and tastes. The actress went on to gush about his fiance and their plans for the future.
“I found the right person because I can be so obsessive about what I do. And luckily my girlfriend, my partner, we are into the same s*it. We have taken the things that we’re spending our time on and interlocked them, and we’re so much f*cking smarter and stronger together. And you’re just like, ‘F*ck, that is the best.’”
Stewart also mentioned that she wanted to have a family someday and wanted to have kids with Dylan Meyer. The Spencer star spoke about the discussions the couple had about kids and how she might try pregnancy someday despite being scared of childbirth. She also mentioned how the couple had actually started preparing for it and were fine with carrying each other’s embryos.
“I don’t know what my family’s going to look like, but there’s no fucking way that I don’t start acquiring kids. And also, ideally at some point soon I go, ‘I want to have a kid.’ I really want that to happen.”
