Recently, the famed celebrity shared a tweet on claiming that Babylon will turn out to be a cult-classic twenty years down the line. He further shared that he found the plot of the film to be very entertaining and unique on top of being somewhat funny.

“Maybe this says more about me than the film, but I thought BABYLON was utterly brilliant–extravagant, over the top, hilarious, thought-provoking. Might be one of those movies that reviews badly and is acclaimed as a classic in 20 years.”

The film is set in 1920s Hollywood, a time of great change and upheaval in the film industry. Babylon suffered a great deal at the worldwide box office, only collecting a mere $63.3 million against a budget of around $110 million. Nevertheless, the movie has a fairly good IMDb rating of 7.2/10 and though it received many negative reviews, only time can tell whether the movie will become a cult classic or not.

Babylon Starring Brad Pitt and Margot Robbie

One of the contentious films that came out last year was Babylon, starring some of the best actors and actresses such as Tobey Maguire, Margot Robbie, and Brad Pitt. While some saw it as a masterpiece, others thought it was a chaotic mess. Babylon portrayed the lives of actors who would lose themselves in vice and decadence in order to earn a name for themselves. Its plot was set in the early days of Hollywood. The movie was a risky decision, and it was partly well-received and party hated by audiences all around the world.
