One of the most famous dynamics was between Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru. Unfortunately, the latter followed the path of evil, and Gojo was unable to save his best friend. Fast forward to the present, and Itadori and Megumi are in the same position. However, Yuji might be able to save his best friend, which his teacher wasn’t able to.

Gege Akutami’s magnum opus has seen a tremendous rise in popularity since 2023 and has been one of the most talked-about series. Gege surely knows how to write profound character dynamics in Jujutsu Kaisen.

The friendship between Gojo and Geto was arguably the most well-written in the series. The chemistry between those two was a treat for viewers, and their jolly lifestyle in the Hidden Inventory arc impressed a lot of fans.

However, after their encounter with Toji, both deviated from their original plans. Gojo lost his arrogance and became humble, while Geto chose the path of evil, became a vigilante, and began crafting his devious plans for eradicating every non-sorcerer.

The only regret Gojo Satoru has is his inability to save his best friend, which led to Geto’s demise and the loss of his only good friend. Many years later, Itadori Yuji and Megumi Fushigoru stand at the same crossroads in life.

Megumi witnessed the horrors of Sukuna taking over his body and killing his sister, and Gojo, whom he adored as a father figure, broke his soul. In the recent chapters, we see Itadori finally making contact with Megumi’s soul, indicating that he is still alive.

Gege Akutami writes events mirrored, as seen with Toji stabbing Gojo and now Maki doing the same to Sukuna in the latest chapter, and therefore Itadori can revive Megumi and save his best friend, unlike his sensei, who failed to do so.

What’s happening in Jujutsu Kaisen?

With Jujutsu Kaisen approaching its end, Gege Akutami is going all in, which can be seen with each chapter getting more intense. Chapter 250 was the latest addition to the Jujutsu Kaisen, and was one of the most exciting ones to date.

It resumed the battle between Itadori, Yuta, and Rika vs. Sukuna, and after a very long time, Sukuna finally found himself incapable of doing anything. We also learned that Itadori has learned to pierce blood, and his punches can shatter someone’s soul.

Yuta was the MVP of this chapter, with him causing the most damage to the king of curses since Gojo Satoru. He also managed to copy Ryomen Sukuna’s cleave and dismantle technique, and his domain was also revealed to be titled True and Mutual Love.

Chapter 250 ended with Sukuna cleaving Itadori and Yuta and their fates are unknown, set to be revealed in the upcoming chapter.
