Throughout the 2010s, Eminem has become popular for his deadpan appearance while also having a very unique sense of humor. Fans managed to find a doppelganger of the Rap God hitmaker at the ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. An Italian archer’s resemblance to Slim Shady was too much of a delight for fans to ignore, and they surely had a field day with it.

The song topped the Billboard Global 200 chart in many countries. In addition to ruling music charts this year, fans have found a curious connection between one professional sportsperson and the rapper.
Italian archer Mauro Nespoli competed during the archery quarterfinal match in the men’s team event between France and Italy. Fans couldn’t ignore how similar he looked to Mathers in one particular image that is going viral online.

Despite Nespoli’s best efforts, Italy was unable to beat France and was defeated by a score of 6-2 (via Athlon Sports). Nevertheless, the comparisons are understandable and it’s fun to see fans having fun out of it. Eminem will certainly get a kick out of the madness going on among fans.
Eminem Couldn’t Stop Laughing While Shooting His Cameo in The Interview

Eminem made a hilarious cameo in James Franco and Seth Rogen’s outrageous comedy The Interview. The rapper appears at the beginning of the film and plays a fictionalized version of himself promoting a new album. Franco interviews him about his career and new album.
He talks about people finding problems with his songs’ lyrics, finding them homophobic sometimes. Franco and his news team are shocked when Eminem comes out as gay in the interview. He says,
Well first of all, when I rap I feel like people twist my words. I don’t necessarily rap about the things that I hate…it’s more about the things that I fear. You know, it’s like if I say something about women or whatever, I think a lot of that is more or less me dealing with issues. Or when I say things about gay people and people think that my lyrics are homophobic, you know, it’s because I’m gay.
In an interview on the radio show Sway in the Morning, Marshall Mathers revealed that his scene partner was very funny and he found it hard to keep it straight. The Killshot hitmaker said (via LadBible),
Yo, I gotta tell you, man: James Franco was so f*cking funny. I couldn’t – it was very hard. There was a few takes where we had to stop, like, I couldn’t stop laughing. He [Franco] was so animated and it was like, damn, I wanna be the funny one here. And he was killin’ it.
While his appearance in The Interview was a cameo, Eminem played the lead in the highly successful film 8 Mile, a semi-autobiographical account of his life and his rise in the rap scene. His latest album The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) debuted at number 1 (via World Music Views) in 70 countries.
