It is a well-known fact that Akira Toriyama was not much associated with the making of new mangas and animes in the last few years as he had taken a step back to just relax and enjoy his retirement. He just acted as a consultant on the projects and did not even watch the anime or play the games that came out at times.
Toyatarou has written the manga for the last few years. He was also the series illustrator for Dragon Ball Super. Now, after the passing of Akira Toriyama, many fans have voiced their support for Toyatarou and asked the mangaka to keep taking frequent breaks so that he does not end up facing the same health issues as his predecessor did.

Although the game looks really cool, Bandai Namco has not announced an official release date for Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero. However, it is being speculated that the game will either be released during the last months of 2024 or early next year.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero will be available for PS5, Xbox Series S/X, and PC.
